How money moves in and out of a Betfans.co account.
Deposits are accepted from debit cards and the other methods shown in the payment strip. Credit cards are not accepted for betting in Australia, so a credit card cannot be added to an account.
Withdrawals are paid back to a verified method held in your own name. Identity verification has to be complete before a withdrawal can be processed.

A daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit can be set at any time. Lowering a limit applies without delay; an increase is subject to a waiting period before it takes effect.
Markets, prices and how a sports wager is settled.
Choose a market, select a price, then check the stake and the potential return in the bet slip before you confirm. Nothing is placed until you confirm it.
Prices are shown as decimal odds. The potential return in the bet slip includes your stake, so a $10 wager at 2.00 shows a $20 return.
Markets are settled on the official result published by the competition or governing body. Settlement can take longer when a result is under review or protest.
If an event is abandoned or a market is voided, affected wagers are returned to your account balance at the price you took.
Thoroughbred, harness and greyhound wagering on Betfans.co.
Meetings are listed by jump time across Australian and international tracks, with thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing kept in separate lists.
A win wager pays only if your runner finishes first. A place wager pays on the placings the field size allows, which is why the place price is shorter.
If a runner is scratched, wagers on that runner are returned. Remaining fixed-price wagers may be adjusted by the deduction published for that race.

Showdown runs alongside sports and racing as a separate product. It has its own account, its own balance and its own responsible gambling controls.
A deposit limit set for betting does not apply to Showdown, and a limit set on Showdown does not apply to betting. Set the controls you want on each product.

A deposit limit caps what you can pay in over a day, a week or a month. Lowering it applies without delay; raising it waits, so the decision is never made in the moment.
A break closes wagering on your account for a period you choose. Open wagers stand and are settled as normal, and the account reopens only when the period ends.
